time, silence reigned here, and the laws of Hel guarded the
balance between the world of the living and the dead. But
everything has changed. The forces have split. Hel's servants
are trying to maintain order, while the Souls of the Exiles
seek to destroy all boundaries between life and death to put
an end to eternal submission.
You stand in front of the
gates of oblivion, a tall arch of black stone covered with
runes that pulsate with ghostly light. You hear a whisper from
behind the door. The voice of a shadow that knows your name
offers two paths.
The right to peace of mind
You pass by endless alleys of souls standing in silent formation and head toward the throne of Hel, a majestic hall forged from petrified fog. Here sit the Judges, ancient beings who determine the fate of everyone who comes here. "Everyone must accept their fate. It is a law that cannot be broken," says one of them, as old as death itself.
But something is wrong. Darkness oozes from the walls. Shadows rise, whispering about freedom. The court will lose its power if the uprising is not stopped.
Dark rebellion
You descend into the lowlands, where faceless souls continue their endless march. The ice cracks underfoot, but they are unstoppable. soul has set foot for thousands of years. Here you find
scrolls carved into bones, books made of shadow skin, and
voices speaking the language of the elders.
You find
texts that reveal the truth: Helheim is not just a prison, but
a place of transition. It cannot be destroyed, only
understood.
A portal to oblivion
In the center of the kingdom is an ancient temple pulsating
with dark light. It contains a Portal created by gods long
forgotten. Through it, you can either preserve the boundaries
or destroy the very essence of death.
The forces around
you are raging - ancient spirits that do not know rest. The
portal opens up your last choice.
The silent throne
Helheim is at peace. After battles, doubts, and choices, you stand before a throne from which Hel's voice no longer sounds. Everything is silent, but there is peace in this silence. Order has been restored, although the depths of the shadows still hold the echoes of war.
Now the choice is yours. Will you stay here to support the new order? Or will you go into the shadows, allowing the kingdom to live without a ruler?
